Clinical Requirements
- Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine. GLP-1 prescribing experience required (min 1 year). Must have current DEA. No history of malpractice. Spanish fluency a plus.

- 20-40 hours/week, full-time preferred. 2 weekend shifts/month required. $120-$180/hour.

About the Position
This is an incredible work opportunity in a fast-paced, innovative company that puts the patient first. We hire clinical care professionals who deliver medical care using telemedicine modalities including video, phone, connected devices, and asynchronous messages (chat/email).
Physicians are members of an interdisciplinary care team working as staff clinicians with OpenLoop. They work independently and are responsible for diagnostic and therapeutic decision-making within the industry and locally established standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Obtains histories, conducts virtual exams, documents findings, evaluates and diagnoses medical and behavioral health conditions
- Delivers patient care in high-priority care targeting a range of common chronic conditions
- Demonstrates flexibility by adapting as needed to change processes and practice
- Communicates effectively with other providers
Requirements
- Board-certified physician (MD or DO) from a US-accredited medical school
- Board-certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
- Minimum 1 year experience prescribing GLP-1 medications for medical weight loss
- MINIMUM of 5-7 Active State Licenses - TOP PRIORITY: CA, TX, FL, NY, IL. OTHER: AL, AR, IN, LA, MS, SC, PA
- Minimum TWO years experience as a practicing physician
- Must have a current DEA
- Must have no history of malpractice
Compensation
- Medical Weight Loss: $30/Synchronous visit, $8-9/Asynchronous visit, $15/Patient no-show
- Tele-urgent Care: $30/Synchronous visit (7-15 min), $40/Behavioral health (20 min), $4/Asynchronous visit
