Clinical Requirements

3+ years of experience
APRN certification (ANCC, AANP). Sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment expertise required. STOP-Bang screening, CPAP management, AI mask fitting experience. Primary Care and/or Sleep Medicine background preferred.

Notes: 1099 position, pay per visit. Monday-Friday 7am-7pm CST. Some nights/weekends a plus.

About This Role

OpenLoop is looking for a Telemedicine Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner to review, diagnose, and establish treatment plans for our patients. We are looking for someone passionate about sleep medicine and treating sleep disorders using telemedicine modalities exclusively.

Responsibilities

Review STOP-Bang result to validate at-home Sleep Study order
Review at-home Sleep Study result to diagnose clinical conditions
Create a prescription and letter of medical necessity for CPAP as needed
Review AI-based mask fitting results to recommend if CPAP mask is appropriate
Create a referral to Dental Sleep Treatment as needed
Interface with patient in telemedicine/phone for initial and follow-up sleep study review
Abide by clinical protocols

Requirements

MUST HAVE AT LEAST FIVE (5) active state licenses in any of: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, TN, TX, VA
Must have current, active APRN medical license
Current national certification through ANCC, AANP, or equivalent
3+ years of relevant clinical experience in Primary Care and/or Sleep Medicine preferred
Outstanding clinical expertise in sleep disorder diagnosis and treatment
Telemedicine or virtual care experience a plus
Ability to work some nights and weekends a plus
